Details of the Shell Bench launched at the
Chelsea Flower Show 2008 can be obtained

Architectural Heritage.
Designed
by Richard Bentley and inspired by
Botticelli's 'Birth of Venus.' Carved in oak
the reproduction is nearly 16ft high and
10ft wide. Only 101 will be made to order,
each one numbered and catalogued at
Strawberry Hill.
Strawberry Hill
is named to commemorate a beautiful house
at Twickenham, built by Horace Walpole,
the youngest son of the first British Prime Minister, Sir Robert
Walpole,
in the style of the Gothic revival.
He laid out a fine garden which is currently being restored.
