This small illustrated book (approx. 50 pages with 13 coloured illustrations and line drawings) gives information obtained from an early copy of the Description of Horace Walpole's gothic villa, Strawberry Hill. It presents a new interpretation of the way in which visitors were shown around Walpole's house and reflects aspects of early tourism.
